This FAQ provides answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about the Solution Showcase. For additional information, please feel free to contact us.
Teams FAQ
All students and educators please be sure that you take the following steps before May 1st:
- Ensure all roster changes have been communicated to Olivia Toro and new students are completely registered in the Innovation Lab by April 15.
- Ensure that Step 6 is complete with your written report (due Friday, April 26) and all presentation materials uploaded in Innovation Lab no later than Monday, April 29.
There are complimentary parking spaces throughout Balboa Park. In addition, there is a tram that runs every 15 minutes that guests can take from the parking lot off of President’s Way/Park Blvd.

There will be two schools sharing a bus based on the geographic location of your school to The Prado at Balboa Park. Coaches will receive their exact bus departure time the week of April 15 via an email from Olivia, and the schedule will be posted in Remind. You will likely be picked up between 7:15am-8:00am, and return to the school between 7:30pm-8:15pm. You can also find your exact bus time linked here.

Please encourage team members to “dress for success”- jeans are appropriate! Teams can elect to wear their school uniforms, or any apparel that they may have designed as part of their solution.
Come with an open mind and be present! Listen to your peers present their solutions and support the hard work that they’ve accomplished over the last 8 weeks. Also, be sure to have fun!
In the unfortunate event that a student team member, coach, or guest is unable to attend the event, please log into this site, aspenchallengesandiego.org on May 1st to witness the event on the livestream.
Yes, a recording of the event will be available Tuesday, May 7 following the event and posted on www.aspenchallenge.org.
Unfortunately, due to venue capacity parents/guardians are not able to attend either of the events in person. We highly encourage participating students to share the Livestream link with their families and friends.
